蓄源科技(OPTI-UPS)成立於1991年，原係優派科技 (ViewSonic) 的電源部門， 後來從集團中獨立出來， 成為通過ISO9002認證的“不斷電系統” (UPS) 與“轉接電源供應器”(SPS)專業電源廠商。蓄源OPTI-UPS 從1996年開始 也陸續建立起穩固的OEM客群﹕客戶多是世界上知名的國際企業，譬如日本的 Panasonic 和 OMERON 、德國的First German UPS和On-Line USV以及英國的BT (British Telecom) 。
1997年，OPTI-UPS在美國加州設立總部公司，其UPS產品也通過ISO9001 認證。隔年，OPTI-UPS開始透過 美國IngramMicro、Tech Data 及 ASI 經銷通路 銷售OPTI-UPS相關電源產品。此外，從1999年也逐步在 世界各地成功塑造OPTI-UPS 品牌知名度。2001年，為了迎合大洋洲快速增加的市場需求，蓄源在澳洲墨 爾本設立第一個海外子公司，並於2003年成為澳洲UPS產品第三大品牌。

OPTI-UPS was established in 1991. The company was under the ViewSonic group initially and independent later for higher brand value. With enthusiasm to serve, we always place customer satisfaction as our priority. The acquisition of ISO 9001 certification and production over wide range of UPS models has been the two approaches used to achieve such goal. All products are designed with features of user-friendly installation and extended run times for wider applications.
