Qingdao, located in the southeast part of Shandong Province, is a beautiful seaside city with clear air and enchanting sea view. 為什麼青島啤酒的英文是TSINGTAO？

Tsingtao 是郵政式拼音 [1]，和北京大學（Peking University）的 Peking 一樣。（清華大學的 Tsinghua 雖然不是郵政式拼音規定的現成地名，但也遵循了郵政式拼音的規則。）

也有說來自法國遠東學院拼音（EFEO system）[2]。依據 EFEO，標準格式為 Ts'ingtao，省去送氣符號「'」後與郵政式拼音一致。所以這兩種拉丁化方案在「青島」這個詞上沒什麼區別。

但不管怎麼樣，這不是隨手音譯的結果。

另外，Tsingtao 不是威妥瑪拼音。

把 Tsingtao 當成威妥瑪拼音是很常見的誤解。威妥瑪拼音的「青島」寫作 Ch'ingtao 或 Chingtao（省去送氣符號）。

我一直都害怕寫作文，可以說我是一見到作文就頭皮發麻，一聽到老師說要寫作文就頭疼，只要一有機會可以溜，我就會腳踏西瓜皮——溜之大吉，她哭了作文。

在讀五年級時，有一次作文競賽，我們班班主任王老師叫我參加，我是最恨最怕寫作文了，那想參加什麼作文競賽，於是千方百計想讓王老師不要我參加這次作文競賽，可是王老師就是不同意。我看不參加這次作文競賽是不可能了，師命難為，於是我回家後，便拼命的看爸爸媽媽以前給我買的一些作文書，臨時報報佛腳。

到了作文競賽的那一天，我懷著忐忑不安的心情進入考場。開始，一切都很順利，我覺得寫得也很不錯，原以為不會出現寫了一半就沒話可寫的狀況，可不一會事情發生了，我忽然覺得無內容可寫了。這時，我擡頭一看，同學們都早已寫好了，有的坐在那邊玩，有的在認真的修改，心想完了，我肯定得不了獎。後來我就稀裡糊塗地亂寫一通，經過千辛萬苦，終於寫完了，這時時間也到了，我匆匆地把作文交了。
