海洋（SEA）是地球上最廣闊的水體的總稱，指地球表面被各大陸地分隔為彼此相通的廣大水域。海洋的中心部分稱作洋，邊緣部分稱作海，彼此溝通組成統一的水體。 地球上海洋總面積約為3.6億平方公里，約佔地球表面積的71%，平均水深約3795米。海洋中含有十三億五千多萬立方千米的水，約佔地球上總水量的97%，而可用於人類飲用只佔2%。地球上四個主要的大洋為太平洋、大西洋、印度洋、北冰洋，大部分以陸地和海底地形線為界。
