雕塑

雕塑，指為美化城市或用於紀念意義而雕刻塑造、具有一定寓意、象徵或象形的觀賞物和紀念物。雕塑是造型藝術的一種。 又稱雕刻，是雕、刻、塑三種創制方法的總稱。指用各種可塑材料（如石膏、樹脂、粘土等）或可雕、可刻的硬質材料（如木材、石頭、金屬、玉塊、瑪瑙、鋁、玻璃鋼、砂岩、銅等），創造出具有一定空間的可視、可觸的藝術形象，藉以反映社會生活、表達藝術家的審美感受、審美情感、審美理想的藝術。透過雕、刻減少可雕性物質材料，塑則透過堆增可塑物質性材料來達到藝術創造的目的。
