催化劑

催化劑又稱觸媒，是一種改變反應速率但不改變反應總標準吉布斯自由能的物質。在化學反應裡能改變（加快或減慢）其他物質的化學反應速率，而本身的質量和化學性質在反應前後（反應過程中會改變）都沒有發生變化的物質叫做催化劑。催化劑種類繁多，按狀態可分為液體催化劑和固體催化劑;按反應體系的相態分為均相催化劑和多相催化劑；可作用於植物，使植物加快生長（既能提高也能降低）；催化劑最早由瑞典化學家貝採裡烏斯發現，1836年，他還在《物理學與化學年鑑》雜誌上發表了一篇論文，首次提出化學反應中使用的“催化”與“催化劑”概念。據統計，約有80%~85%的化工生產過程中使用過，如氨，硫酸，硝酸的合成，乙烯，丙烯的聚合。
