卵巢（英語：ovary；拉丁語：ovarium），女性性腺，位於子宮闊韌帶後，輸卵管的後下方。 卵巢的大小與形態因年齡而異。成人卵巢是一對扁橢圓形的腺體，約4cmx3 cmx1cm，活體超聲測量值平均約11ml，重5~ 6g。其主要功能是產生和排出卵細胞，分泌性激素，以促進女性性徵的發育並維持之。一般而言，左、右卵巢每月交替排出一成熟卵子。 保持良好健康的生活習慣，不熬夜，不抽菸喝酒，保持心情舒暢，這些都是保護卵巢功能積極有效的措施。如果一旦發現卵巢功能下降，應及時就醫，儘早治療，以延緩卵巢早衰的程序。
